The ISM (Independent Study and Mentorship) program is a highly prestigious and esteemed program that allows extremely qualified students the opportunity to study and observe in a career of their choosing based on their professional interests. Throughout the year, students conduct a multitude of of interviews in order to find a mentor, shadow the mentor in their chosen field of interest, and prepare a final product reflecting on all of the knowledge gained through experiences and independent research. All in all, ISM is an unique and insightful opportunity and is extremely useful in determining possible career options and if that field is indeed of interest after further exploration.
